TDT Communications is committed to handling personal information responsibly and transparently. This policy explains how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information when you contact us, request a quote, work with us, apply for work or use this website.
This policy is intended to reflect the Australian Privacy Principles where they apply to our activities. It is general information and is not legal advice.
2. Information we collect
Depending on your interaction with us, we may collect:
- your name, organisation, role and contact details;
- project location, scope, programme and enquiry information;
- correspondence, quotations, contracts and supplier information;

Please do not send sensitive, carrier-confidential or security-critical information through the public website unless we have agreed on an appropriate secure method.
3. How we use information
We may use personal information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, plan and deliver work, manage clients and suppliers, meet safety and legal obligations, recruit personnel, protect our systems and improve our services.
We do not sell personal information.
4. Website, forms and cookies
The website uses essential technical features required to provide and secure the WordPress website. Our contact form collects the details you choose to submit so that we can respond.
At the date of this policy, we do not intentionally use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, behavioural advertising or similar optional third-party tracking on the public website. We therefore do not currently present a cookie-consent banner. If optional analytics, advertising pixels, embedded platforms or other non-essential tracking are introduced, we will review this policy and implement consent controls where required.
You can control or delete browser cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect some website functions.
5. Disclosure and service providers
We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to our personnel, professional advisers, insurers, technology and hosting providers, project partners, principal contractors, clients or government authorities. Disclosure is limited to the purpose for which the information is required, or as authorised or required by law.
Some technology providers may process or store data outside Australia. Where this occurs, the countries involved may vary by provider and service configuration.
6. Security and retention
We take reasonable administrative, technical and physical steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure.
Information is retained for as long as reasonably required for the relevant business, contractual, safety, insurance or legal purpose, then deleted, destroyed or de-identified where practical.
7. Access, correction and complaints
You may ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you. You may also raise a privacy question or complaint. Contact us at admin@tdtcommunications.com.au or Unit 4, 51 Tanby Road, Yeppoon, Queensland.
We will assess the request and respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be entitled to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
